I painted a terracotta fountain riser and placed Creeping Jenny and an ornamental grass in it instead of using the fountain riser in a fountain.
I built a fountain in our backyard and have had the hardest time trying to make it look right. It’s one of those artworks that just won’t look right. I’ll have to post pictures of each rendition–it’s pretty amusing. Anyway, the fountain riser looks much better in the garden.
This garden art is actually a metal door mat. It looked really nice at our front door, but a friend almost got her high heels stuck in it and could have taken quite a tumble. So I propped it up against the wall, and it’s been there ever since.
