These are three kinds of Azaleas that I planted right next to each other. I thought I’d do a little creative gardening with the hope that they’d all grow into each other and be a big bouquet next to the front door. They actually looked pretty good this year. In fact, the reddish-pink one in the back bloomed for the first time. They’ve received plenty of shade and lots of water this year. I hope to duplicate this environment for them next spring–I’m hoping they’ll look like one, big Azalea bush (why? I don’t know. Just a creative gardening idea I had.)

This is the best my Azaleas have looked in years. They must like all the rain we’re getting this year. I didn’t write down what type of Azalea this is, but it’s supposed to tolerate more sun than most.
It’s a new year, and I’m looking forward to watching the garden come alive! So far, we have azaleas and cyclamen in bloom. We also have our camellias just beginning to bud. (Teddy is looking forward to more romps in the garden as well.)
